Physiotherapist for Deepika

After Munni and Sheila, it's Deepika Padukone's turn to sizzle on screen as an item  girl. The actor recently wrapped up shooting for the remixed versions of Dum maaro dum for Rohan Sippy's movie by the same name. And the dancing was so strenuous that by the end of the schedule, she required the services of a physiotherapist to help her relax her muscles.

While Sippy finished shooting the film about a month ago, only this song remained to be shot for want of a suitable star. After considering stars like Katrin Kaif and Priyanka Chopra, Sippy opted for Padukone to shake a leg in the remixed version of the RD Burman original from Hare Rama Hare Krishna. After signing on for the number, Padukone rehearsed for three days with the choreographers. However, despite her routine workouts, Padukone could barely keep to her feet, reveals a source associated with the film.

Sippy, who arranged for a physiotherapist for the actor, says,"The song is a fast-paced number and is a mix of grooves and moves. If it involved only hardcore dance moves, Deepika would have had to rest for a couple of more days." Padukone says,"I'm doing a pure dance number after a considerable time. I'm sure that in a couple of days, with the help of yoga, I'll be fine."
